Antoneta Alamat Kusijanovic is a writer-director born in Dubrovnik. Her short INTO THE BLUE won awards at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival, 23rd Sarajevo Film Festival, 30th Festival Premier Plans and the 63rd Oberhausen Film Festival, and was nominated for a Student Academy Award. Antoneta is developing her first feature film, MURINA, with support from the Résidence du Festival Cannes, Cinéfondation, First Films First and Jerusalem Film Lab. Antoneta holds an MFA in directing from Columbia University in New York.

Ana’s mounting rejection re-ignites Julija’s wounds and family history, awakening the monster of violence she thought she’s left behind.
